Netflix’s Lupin, The Gentlemanly Thief

Lupin Ft Image

After doing two weeks of Carmen Sandiego, I guess I’m not ready to let go of stories about friendly neighborhood thieves. So here I am talking about Netflix’s Lupin, hope you enjoy it!

Quick Summary of Lupin~

20ish years ago Assane Diop’s dad was wrongly convicted of stealing a necklace from his employer. After his arrest and confession, he committed suicide. Assane is handed over to child services, taking a bag, a photo of his family, and a book on Arsene Lupin, the gentleman thief. The book being the last gift from his dad. Now, Assane has mastered the skills Lupin possesses, back to find the truth of all that transpired many years ago.

Final Thoughts on Lupin:

Arsene Lupin is a real book series and Netflix’s Lupin makes me want to read it so bad. Maybe after I graduate. I must admit, this isn’t my first exposure with Lupin, I have seen a couple of the Lupin III movies in high school but I love what Netflix has done with this story and I can’t wait for more. If you haven’t seen it yet, I’m sorry for the spoilers
