What Dreams May Come: Horrendous After Life

Warning: Today’s topic is What Dreams May Come and it contains topics of suicide and death on top of being sad.

Quick Summary~

Chris and Annie fall in love, get married and have two beautiful kids. One day, their kids die in a horrible accident. Not much later, Chris dies and goes to heaven. After coping with his death by meeting his two kids, he receives the news Annie killed herself. Now he must embark on a journey to save her against all odds.

His death isn’t your fault

  • So essentially everyone’s in limbo
  • Ah so it’s a rescue mission now
  • You aren’t going to try and find your son?
  • Immediately 
  • Oh boy it’s that one scene from Harry Potter. I didn’t like it the first time 
  • You turned yourself into the villain in an effort to help your son
  • What terrible wreckages
  • Now we’re throwing in Greek Mythology with Cerberus 
  • Words becoming true

Character matters more than people know 

  • Wishes coming true
  • Now it’s Sparta
  • His dad recognized him đŸ„șđŸ„ș
  • Elevator to hell is one I haven’t heard 
  • Our Virgil stand in makes a little bit of sense
  • Wow this feels straight outta Dante’s Inferno 
  • People respond to differently to grief 
  • He chooses life with you 
  • Falling 
  • Persistence 
  • So his son couldn’t come but his son’s namesake could?

Decrepid and colorless 

  • Ah the d day meaning 
  • You were so close 😭😭😭
  • No don’t give up on your kids
  • Is she sending him back or going with him
  • She’s back!!
  • Reuniting at last… I’m losing it
  • And it starts over again
