Hello people, who may or may not be invested in my Your Majesty series, this is for you. Check out what I have to say on the Banished!
The Banished are those you banish from your kingdom. They are the people you cut out of your life.
In this section, I’ll cover:
- why it’s ok to cut people out of your life
- the signs of when you should banish people
- whether you should leave on good terms or no
- the power of forgiveness.
It’s ok to cut people out of your life.
You are the ruler of this kingdom. As a ruler, you owe it to yourself to make it a good one. In your kingdom, you want people who will help you cultivate your kingdom to its highest potential. You don’t need people who are going to try and trash your kingdom. You have to live in it after all.
The power of forgiveness
If you cut someone out of your life, I’m going to encourage you to forgive them. It is one of the hardest things to do, especially if you thought that person cared about you and then proceeded to hurt you. It is a process that doesn’t happen overnight necessarily. However, it is better for you overall to not be holding on to the bitterness of the past. To let go and focus on your future and what’s best for you.
So leave the banished on good terms or no?
My initial response was to ask if you’ll ever see them again but that doesn’t really matter. You don’t know what’ll happen in the future. You could apply for your dream job and they could be your future employer and if you leave on bad terms they won’t hire you. That, and I encourage all of you to be the bigger person.
Thank you for reading the banished. Comment below a time you had to banish someone or if y’all would like to hear some of mine. See you in the next post!
